MY STORY

I am an open minded leader wanting to help others grow holistically, by bringing out the best version in everyone I cross my path with.
My purpose has always been helping people turn their dreams into a reality, as well as inviting them to analyze if they have achieved happiness and fulfillment;  if not, inspiring them to make the necessary changes in order to achieve them. Through that kind of help, I like the possibility of making a noticeable difference in their lives.

I’ve had the opportunity of developing multiculturally-sensitiveness, by being Swiss, with a Colombian heart and Mexican nationality.  Among these years, I’ve lived and worked in Europe (Switzerland, Germany and the UK), and America (USA, Uruguay, Colombia and México). Besides, I truly believe sky is the limit, and that boundaries and obstacles are here to be overcome and to help us grow. Thanks to aspects such as curiosity, networking, continuous learning and uncertainty (which caters to bring out the best in me on a daily basis), one of the ways I contribute to organizations is by helping them go from the unstructured to the structured.

In addition to the above, my passion has always been understanding the human being. First I started doing it from a service perspective in Hotel Management; then from a consumer, shopper and customer perspective in Consumer Marketing, by increasing responsibilities at The Coca-Cola Company, Diageo LAC, Unilever Foods and FoodSolutions across Mexico and LATAM; and now as an integral executive coach specializing in organizational development, who brings self & team awareness to life, working with cross generational teams in a dynamic market, impregnated with modern technology.

My involvement to make teams more efficient and productive, is through the Birkman Method, which exists since 1950’s. It has a data base of 3 Million people cross gender, age, industries and cultures, and it is an effective parameter to benchmark behaviors under 9 components and 2 drivers on two scales.
The method’s first scale is usual behavior, their most productive behavior, and the second scale reflects a person’s needs. Sometimes people are not aware of these important areas and therefore their needs are not fulfilled, which causes a stress behavior and certain non productive reactions to different circumstances.

This is why “MAYA -Transforming People´s Productivity” will contribute to the companies’ wellbeing and productivity, by creating more consciousness and building a healthy smooth work environment, reaching set objectives and working towards one common purpose. Furthermore, I will accompany organizations throughout their change management challenge, transforming people, processes, roles and responsibilities.

MAYA – Transforming People´s Productivity drives me to contribute to make a difference in this world. For me, it is a true purpose coming to life, not only at the workplace, but also at guiding people through evolution and the definition of their real meaning in this world.
